Dallas mavericks v. boston celtics, who would win?

mavericks are soo good and they had the best record last year. they started off the season okay but they won 7 straight and are first in the west. they beat goldenstate 2 times this year to wipe of f the embarrassment from last year and they have one of th greatest fowards in the league, dirk nowitzki.

celtics were an embarrassment last year but some how acquired KG and ray allen. they hav the best record in the NBA right now and are the most surprising team thus far.

Boston can have all the regular season wins if they get lucky to beat Dallas at the end of the month, but in the end, the Mavs won't have to face the Celtics, because it is going to be the Pistons at the finals, and to the moron that said KG would leave the Mavs MVPless, Duncan and Bowen seperately are better defenders to put on Dirk than KG is, if the Spurs can't stop Dirk, the #1 Defense team, what makes you think this overrated Boston team can stop him.

the Mavericks would win since Boston hasn't really been playing the big powerhouse teams like the west and lost to teams such as Detroit and Cleveland and Orlando at times and recently lost to Charlotte and Washington so it wouldn't be a blowout but the Mavericks would win
the C's would win because of this...

Rondo vs. Harris:I would say thats a tie

Allen vs. Terry:Allen-he is a better offensive player,Terry has him on defense but Allen can hold his own

Pierce vs. Howard:Pierce-he is a better scorer and they are probably the same on defense

Garnett vs. Dirk:Garnett-he is not as good as Dirk offensively,but Dirk plays no defense whatsoever,he is soft

Perkins vs. Dampier:I would say Perkins-he is finally starting to develop now that he doesnt have to do everything himself
The Celtics would have to win this one, they are good on both ends where to the Mavs are a little one sided on offense, I agree that the Mavs are a little deeper but with KG holding Dirk down I think he wont be much of a factor leaving them MVPless, the Mavs dont really have any shut down defenders giving Allen and Peirce their oppurunity to do what they want, itd be a close game but I'd have to give the edge to the Celtics.
Dallas Mavericks. they have came back sooooooo good, and have been workin really well together as a team. so i have to give them props, so i am sayin Mavs.

the Boston Celtics have such an extroadinary starting lineup it seems that hardly anybody in the league can match up to them when healthy...

but they dont seem to "want" it as bad as they should.. I mean, they've lost to 3 at or below 50% teams.. (cleveland, charlotte, wizards).. and they've yet to play any of the power teams in the west, besides the lakers and I think the suns.. (they beat them both) so its still hard to say who would win that game..

I'd pick the mavericks though
